Scorch Trials; Last week?

Hello everyone! I would just like to inform that I have been reading WAY more lately and might finish this week. So last time I blogged I talked about how Winston had been attacked and Newt, Thomas, and Minho are about to go outside. Newt  proposes that they use their sheets to block their eyes, and dont get burned. After a while of walking and seeing a few cranks, they hear screams. It goes on for awhile, while the Gladers are still walking. They keep walking until Thomas notices a building with a girl in front. Thomas agrees to go and check it out. The girl quickly runs inside. Thomas follows and see that its Teresa. They have a moment before Teresa asks for Thomas to leave, so they wont be in danger. Thomas runs out and starts to run towards the city. Everyone quickly runs after Thomas so that they are only a few miles from, what I started to call, 'Ghost Town' Minho decides to have everyone rest. The next day, when everyone is awake, they get to the outskirts of 'Ghost Town' and find an old man. He talks about how there is bad people and they shouldn't go to the city. As they leave the man, it starts to storm. They all start running and soon people are starting to get hit by lightning and falling. The others just keep running. Then Minho gets hit by lightning. Thomas quickly rolls mud on Minho and sets the fire out. He helps Minho up and carries him to the nearest building. Once they are inside, they all sleep. After a good sleep, a crank falls from a big hole in the ceiling. Minho later attacks him and other cranks come down too. Thomas asks the crank, Jorge, to speak with him to come to a compromise. Jorge later takes Thomas on his offer, which is that him and a girl named Brenda go with him to get the cure. Thomas agrees, but wonders about the other cranks. Jorge says not to worry about it. So all the gladers, and Aris of coarse, go and get some food, and Brenda starts to take a liking to Thomas. She has constantly flirted with him and saved him from the ceiling, that happened to be falling on top of everyone while they were eating. Brenda drags him away from the other gladers and they have a moment. The question is, who does he have more feelings for? Teresa or Brenda?

I decided to do a character analysis on Jorge. He seems to be a crazy, wild, strait forward, head strong guy that follows his own rules. Jorge and the other gladers met by the talk of food. Like when he came from the ceiling, its not like he fell. The book literally said,"He looked up just as the others did. A face looked down at them from the shredded remains of the third floor, that of a young Hispanic man. His eyes were slightly wild, and Thomas felt a belt of tension cinch inside him. "Who're you?" Minho shouted. Then, to Thomas's utter disbelief, the man jumped through the jagged hole in the ceilings, falling toward them. At the last second he crumpled into a human ball and rolled three times, then sprang up to his feet" The funny part about Jorge is that he is Hispanic and will sometime say "muchacho " or "hermano" Muchacho means 'young man' and hermano means 'brother' Its funny because, if you haven't read my 'About Me!" you would see that I have a little brother and sometimes when I get home, I will go into his room and pick him up greeting him with a "Hola mi hermano" which most times he will giggle at, so when I read Jorge say it, I said in my head "Hey, I know that word" If I am totally being honest, I really like Jorge. He is outgoing and sounds really fun, as long as you dont get on his bad side.
